I am a well experienced Licensed Massage Therapist who has been in practice since 2002. I specialize in deep, therapuetic massage. I also practice other stlyes including, but not limited to Swedish, Trigger point, NMT, Myofascial, Medical, Relaxation and other types of bodywork.
I have also worked with different athletes before, during and after their training.
My massage education and training has been from two accredited massage therapy institutes. I first went to the Space Coast Health Institute in Melbourne, FL. After graduation, I was hired back into the Clinic of the school and eventually became an Instructor of the massage therapy program. Moving back to NY, I obtained my NYS license through the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine located in Manhattan. This therapy program not only allowed me the opportunity to work closely with veteran therapist, but also enhanced my knowledge of Eastern modalities.
I keep myself updated on current research and also take continuing education courses. These have deepened my understanding of the muscle interaction of the human body and this knowledge is applied to every massage I give.
I have worked in various types of massage settings. These include doctor offices, chiropractic offices, acupucture offices and spas in the states of Florida and New York.
